Thoralf Karlsen is a stills and motion producer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya and grew up in Scotland, graduating from the University of Edinburgh with an MA in Anthropology.
Thor previously worked in London, UK as a writer and editor for a number of publications including Howler Magazine and The Upcoming. Since moving to New York he has sought to merge his experience in journalism and publishing with his longstanding engagement with photo & video production, working with a host of clients across editorial, commercial and documentary projects.
