MARADONA ‘86 (Development producer)
Produced by Passion Pictures, MARADONA 86’, is an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary about footballer Diego Maradona. Constructed from archive material, the film is an ode to this ultimate footballing idol, basking in the operatic intensity of his performances at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico as he wrote his name on football history forever.
The film was directed by Sam Blair and produced by John Battsek, and premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
